Two ingredients that were made for each other — creamy coconut butter and rich dark chocolate. These bliss balls are no-bake, naturally sweetened, and dangerously easy to make.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Chill Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 10 to 12 balls
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Alt Milk coconut butter
- 1 cup desiccated coconut (plus extra for rolling)
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 100g vegan dark chocolate (70% cocoa or above), roughly chopped
- 1 tsp coconut oil (for melting chocolate)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine desiccated coconut, coconut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix well until everything comes together into a firm, sticky dough.
- If the mixture feels too soft, refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up slightly.
- Scoop out small portions and roll into smooth balls between your palms.
- Place on a tray lined with parchment paper and freeze for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between.
- Dip each chilled bliss ball into the melted chocolate, coating it fully.
- Place back on the parchment-lined tray and sprinkle with a pinch of desiccated coconut or flaky sea salt on top.
- Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes until the chocolate sets completely.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
Tip: The secret is chilling the balls before dipping in chocolate — it helps the coating set quickly and evenly. A pinch of flaky sea salt on top takes the flavour from good to absolutely irresistible.
